Board #318 | Retro Whimsy

Hi all! I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving! I’m still on the road with only intermittent internet (say that five times fast), but I’ll do my best to get posts up on time and to respond to emails as soon as I can. Today’s inspiration board started with the darling ponytail photo, and I probably could have done a palette with a little more black, but this sweet, bright, retro look seemed perfect.

Mood: chic retro whimsy
Palette: pale pink, white, gray, hints of black

  • Cheryl says:

Nothing fussy about this wedding — love the flats she’s wearing, the snowball cupcakes, and that ponytail!

  • Emma @ White and Wander says:

    Ooh yes, love that ponytail!
And loving that wedding out under the trees in the last phots – just so simple, classic and timeless…

  • Jena says:

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the retro feel, especially the black bow

P.S. Who doesn’t love cotton candy.

  • citysage says:

So pretty! I’m all about the pink anemones in that bouquet. They’re one of my favourite flowers—a little girly with their ruffly petals, but a little dramatic too with their black centers. Just right for this wedding!

Hope you’re having a lovely break Kathryn…with plenty of turkey, of course :)

  • Peonies and Polaroids says:

I love this, it’s the wedding that I would have if I was getting married again today!
