Board #54 | Campfire Girls (and Boys)

Here is how I imagine a camp-themed weekend-long wedding in the Southern Appalachia region:

Camp elements, like compass favors, canoes, lanterns, and s’mores.
Local blooms, like dogwood, and maybe some azalea of you want pink.
Unique touches, like biodegradable confetti, a groom in a white camp shirt and sneakers, and a save-the-date inspired by love carved into the side of a tree.

Mood: family camp fun
Palette: natural browns, green, white

This idea is so much fun! I can also envision some very chic lounge chairs and side tables spread out all over. Again, what a fun idea!

K – what can I say, you’ve done it again!!! Beautiful, this board is fabulous. You put together a casually elegant campfire inspired affair! I don’t know which element I like most – – – the compasses, the engraved stationery, the canoes, the s’mores…oh! I just can’t decide.

OK.. so this IS my wedding. We’re having a weekend long wedding at a summer camp in the Birmingham, AL! how did you know? pink just gold. Like your later post gold and white but causal!

Thanks! I’d love to share my real summer camp pics with you later! I’m so excited to find this!

My hubby and I also got married at the summer camp that I grew up at. I had patches made for the favor. Embossed invites with mountains. Silver stars (pipecleaners) hung every where, with white lights…It was just what I wanted.
This was lots of fun! thanks for sharing
