Happy Weekend!

It’s starting to feel like fall here, windy and cooling down a bit. Last year I started making my own applesauce, and I think the weather is just right to make up a batch this weekend. Served warm with a dollop of crème fraîche… it’s totally appropriate for breakfast, but tastes like dessert! We’re also leaving baby with my mom for the night so we can go to a friend’s engagement party, and even though I’ve left her for a few hours before, I’ve always been there to put her to bed. I know Caroline will be fine, but hopefully I’ll be fine, too!

  • I am in love with that candelabra – perfect for the slew of 40th birthdays coming up in the next year.

I hope you can have a glass of wine and enjoy the evening out!

Fabulous finds, as always. I absolutely adore your birth announcements. Cynthia Warren did an amazing job. The baker’s twine and seed-packet stamps were such perfect touches. And what a beautiful photo of baby Caroline. :)
