Happy Weekend!

This weekend I’m having a slumber party with some of my girlfriends – I love slumber parties! I’m thinking I might make my creamy pumpkin pasta for dinner… or maybe we’ll just eat ice cream out of the container like we used to do in high school. (PS – My favorite ice cream right now is Chocolate Orange Confetti by Three Twins.) So what are you up to this weekend?

Doesn’t this look like a Wayne Thiebaud painting? It’s a photo of real pies by Sharon Core!

  • Totally thought that was Wayne Thiebaud before I scrolled down.

My kiddo’s fourth birthday party is this weekend! How do I have an almost four year old?! 15 kids and parents. Mini pumpkin hunt and cupcakes for the kiddos. Caramelized pork shoulder, fried pork and sage meatballs, wine and other goodies for the adults. Let’s hope the weather holds out.

  • I want to eat that pie!!! Have a great weekend. My husband is out of town this weekend, and it’s going to be super rainy here in Oregon, so I plan on staying home, in my PJs and doing some sewing, baking and essentially live in domestic bliss.
