Happy Weekend!

It’s been a week full of sisters! My little sister returned to the States after a year in France, so I got a few days with her, and now I’m in San Diego visiting my big sister. I (not-so-secretly) wish for the day when both of my sisters and I live on the same street and can hang out and have last-minute dinners together and make crafty things with my nephews. I also started reading Tina Fey’s Bossypants¬†yesterday, which is hilarious, and I definitely recommend it if you need a good laugh. What are you up to this weekend?

It’s almost warm enough for some sweet tea.

Beautiful pansy centerpiece for Mothers Day.

Etsy engagement ring round-up, via wit + delight.

How romantic is this bouquet Amy Merrick created for BHLDN?

Cutest thing ever: baby elephant on a beach.

Handmade type: a typography experiment, via Mint. So cool!

Vintage razor wrappers = inspiring design.

Beautiful blue dress in this London elopement.

New favorite dinner:¬†chipotle sweet potato tacos. Made them twice in the last week, mmmm… via Mint.

And congratulations to Kelly Edm and Eleni, the winners of the Izola giveaway! I’ll be sending you an email about getting the gift packs to you.

Have a happy weekend, lovelies!

Yay! I’m so excited to have won. I cannot wait to gift these to someone special. Thank you!

  • Jess says:

I love the elopement pictures. You can just see the joy on their faces!

  • Love the Marilyn photo! And the dress from the elopement is perfection. It just looks so elegant and effortless. Happy weekend!

  • JM says:

Actually, according to her best friend from high school, Marilyn said toward the end of her life that she guessed Arthur Miller was her best and favorite husband because “he loved truly Norma Jeane and not just Marilyn.” (I may not have gotten the quote exactly right.)
