Happy Weekend!

I’m so sorry for the (way) late post today! This was such a jam packed week, and my weekend links got away from me! Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I was thrilled to be a guest at Ariella Chezar‘s floral workshop at the beautiful Twin Palms in Sonoma, and then this morning I was invited to speak with Meg Keene on KQED Forum, a show on our local NPR station. Needless to say, for a girl who spends most of her time at home in front of the computer, it was a busy (and exciting!) week.

Hilarious bridesmaid mugshots.

Berry Cheesecake and Summer Berry Cake both sound delicious right now.

Have a happy weekend, lovelies! And Happy Father’s Day!

  • Thank you for sharing your photo of that juicy garland! Wow I wish I would of known about that workshop, sounds incredible!! What a treat for you. I can only imagine how inspiring it must of been.

  • I listened to the podcast – that must have been such a thrill! I was shocked (shocked!) when you said that you had never had a second wedding (that the couple “admitted to”) featured on the blog. I feel sure that there have been some, but that info was not shared. It really speaks to the stigma that is still present around remarriage.

    • KATHRYN says:

Hi Sarah! At the time, no weddings came to mind, but after thinking about it, there have been a few weddings that were definitely second weddings. Not many, and that was not a major focus of the story told by the couple, but there were a couple. But still, surprising that there aren’t more!
