I’m getting to that age where the majority of my social calendar is filled with wedding-related activities. With engagement parties, bachelorette parties, bridal showers, bridal luncheons, bridal party brunches and the weddings themselves, this has been a busy year for me. I’ve gotta say, I don’t hate it—I love a good dance floor.
Between taking part in all of my friends’ festivities and working for Snippet & Ink, I feel lucky to have been surrounded by so much inspiration for planning my own wedding, when that time comes. I’ve developed a pretty good sense of what will feel authentic for me, and ultimately, make my wedding day feel truly meaningful. Unfortunately (for my friends and family), I’ll probably be a little picky (in a nice way!) when it comes to planning. I mean, it’s a big deal!
I think every bride wants her wedding to be unique…it’s a representation of the really special story you share with your partner, and you want to express that from start to finish. That’s why I’m continuously impressed by the engagement rings from MARS Jewelry, who offers some of the most unique designs on the market. If your tastes skew modern, or vintage, or timeless or you’re just extra-discerning (oops), they have a ring that you’ll feel so good about wearing.
MARS has been around for a while, so you can trust that every ring of theirs is expertly handcrafted. In fact, they’re just about to celebrate their 30th anniversary as a company! I love that it’s a family business run by a mom, dad and two sons—MARS is an acronym of their four names. I don’t know about you, but I just feel better when I know things like that about a brand.
I know I said I was picky, but it’s really hard to choose a favorite engagement ring from MARS’ collections. It’s a good thing that choice isn’t up to me! Every MARS piece has a beautiful, unexpected detail that truly makes it unlike anything else. Even better, now through Dec 31, every MARS ring comes with a free Mrs. Box! I’ve loved Mrs. Boxes for a long time—it’s a personalized heirloom that you’ll keep forever, and it looks so gorgeous in photos.
When you buy a ring from MARS, all you have to do is register your ring on their website and you’ll receive your free Mrs. Box! You can choose from four of the dreamiest Mrs. Box colors: Etta (Gold), Laureate (Green), Monroe (Pink), and Truman (Blue). Not to play favorites, but that green is so good. Let us know if you end up getting a MARS ring or Mrs. Box, yourself, and why that choice feels special to you!
