I would love to take a surf lesson, and then reward myself with a authentic Mexican cooking class!

  • Susan Howard says:

i love the seclusion – not far from Cabo but far enough. And a farm to table cooking class.Yum!

  • Oh Em Gee, this place looks to diiiiie for! At first I was all about the morning yoga but then I saw their Instagram feed and am thinking the cooking/mixology classes would be a must!

Liked as my page (see website, Jenna Perfette Photography) and email ngallo58 at gmail

My husband and I are coming up on our ten year wedding anniversary. We have fought thru some struggles in the last 2 years to make our relationship solid and happy again, and we would love the opportunity to renew our vows on the beach at Rancho Pescadero. If we won, we would spend our mornings in yoga or surfing, our afternoons sipping cocktails in their gorgeous cabanas, and our nights enjoying their weekly guest chef for the culinary series. Not going to lie…the tequila, mezcal, and wine tastings sound pretty amazing! ??☀️??

  • Well this place looks idyllic, especially after a long wedding season! At the risk of sounding boring, I’d do yoga as often as they’d let me, go snorkeling to see some whale sharks and take that farm to table cooking class. That way you’ve communed with all the elements and yourself and could leave feeling relaxed and alive at the same time.

  • Jennifer Londoño says:

Farm to table cooking lessons with fresh Mexican ingredients? Yes please!!!

  • Libby O'Neill says:

My fiance and I are getting married in October, and to be honest, a lot of wedding planning is about logistics, and finances, and making sure you’re not offending your third cousin’s ex-wife, etc. :-) It would be SO NICE to get back to romantic basics: a couples massage followed by dinner on the beach! And I’d want to balance out an excursion to the Sea of Cortez with one of Rancho Pescadero’s mixology classes — the perfect blend (get it!) of active adventure and fun cocktails! We’d love to win.

  • Chaliis says:

This getaway would be a lovely one, indeed! My significant other and I love yoga. During our stay, I’d love to catch as much surf time as possible. It would be even more enjoyable after teaching my S.O. how to surf. He has taught me a handful of things; now it’s my turn to show him some tricks in the water. We both work hard and would love to have a beautiful break at this location.

  • Emily says:

heaven! my husband and i love cooking together (and we live in texas so mexican food is close to our hearts). we would love to hone our skills and enjoy some time together soaking up that gorgeous view!

  • Andrea says:

My fiancé and I will be married in October and the private beach dining would be such a treat after a year’s worth of wedding planning!

  • Ana says:

I am all about yoga and seeing whales and I know my boyfriend would love to go fishing and take some surfing classes so we’d have lots of things to do together!

  • Jessica says:

After seeing this incredible giveaway, it brought back memories of my engagement last year. My fiancé proposed at a boutique hotel in Mexico last June, and I obviously LOVE reliving that moment! It’s hard to choose just a few activities because we would want to do all of them! We would definitely take surf lessons, snorkel, and take full advantage of the complementary yoga. The farm to table cooking lessons is an absolute must as well!!
We’re getting married in October, and I couldn’t think of a better honeymoon than going back to marvellous Mexico, at another beautiful boutique hotel!

  • Jessica says:

We love to cook together, so the farm-to-table cooking class would be an obvious choice… but it would also be amazing to have the chance to (try to) learn how to surf! It might require more physical coordination than either of us are capable of, but I suspect the effort would be hilarious, if nothing else.

  • ERIN says:

After having our first baby and skipping sleep this last year, I would head straight to the spa for a deep tissue, hot stone massage that would hopefully segway into a long, margarita-induced nap by the pool. With my energy restored, I would try my luck at paddle boarding on the Sea of Cortez and then head back to the resort for a mixology class to work on perfecting that margarita-induced napping situation.

  • Dana says:

My Fiance and I LOVE cooking. We would love to take the cooking classes! Right up our alley

  • Jess says:

Omg- Rancho Pescadero looks amazing! My fiancé and I would love to stay there and get to swim with whale sharks! Fingers crossed!!

  • Dani says:

My favorite thing is seeing the sea turtles and whales!! But I also would totally love doing some vacationy cooking classes :)

  • Morgan says:

My brand new hubby and I would definitely take our honeymoon in April for the Gastrovino festival! Wine, tacos, Italian food… pretty sure they call that Heaven where I’m from! I’m a foodie, he’s a wino and we’ve never been to Mexico together. Now THAT would be a honeymoon to remember!! xx

  • Sarah Shattuck says:

Looks like heaven! I’d love to do anything on, in, or by the water during the day– kayaking, SUPing, snorkeling, windsurfing, and reading/ napping on the beach, then cocktails and dinner as the days wind down. Somewhere in there, cooking classes would be great. We’re getting married next July, and would love a vacation just for two, where no planning is required.

  • Emma Palmer says:

What a fun giveaway! My husband and I are big foodies and we like to take advantage of the cultural melting pot that our hometown, Atlanta, is by trying new adventurous restaurants each weekend. We’d definitely sign up for the farm-to-table cooking and mixology classes.

We also work as freelancers in the Atlanta theatre community, so we’d probably try to plan our trip around either the Todos Santos Arts Festival or Music Festival in order to take full advantage of our first trip south of the border!!

  • Grace Blacksea says:

How stunning! Rancho Pescadero looks like a dream! I would start each morning off with a Yoga class in the yoga pavilion, followed by coffee service & breakfast to our room to enjoy with my honey! I would love to fit in some adventure by exploring the Sea of Cortez – the water looks like heaven. My boyfriend and I love to paddle-board so this would be a whole new experience on c-thru water! After indulging in some adventure, I would head to one of the two pool to soak up the Mexico sun (with a cocktail in hand of course) followed by a Farm to Table cooking class! Mexico seems to have such gorgeous, rich agriculture so this would be an amazing way to experience the authentic flavor of the land. Seeing baby sea turtles being released into the ocean is on my top 5 things to see in life so I wold LOVE to work that in while also conquering a HUGE fear of mine (swimming with Sharks). This seems like the perfect vacation for relaxation, adventure and checking a few items off of my bucket list! Cheers to new beginnings & opportunities! Thank you for offering this fantastic giveaway.

  • Jamie says:

Wow! Cooking classes and whale watching from your room?! I want to go to there.

  • Ryan Harrison says:

This place is beautiful! I’d love to try surfing and a mixology class! How fun!

  • CL Maul says:

“[We] should have the opportunity to have the prettiest clothes, the prettiest surroundings, and every known method to make themselves more attractive,” according to Conde Nast. Rancho Pescadero is the ultimate opportunity to experience all things “joie de vivre.” It would be impossible to not relish in the most robust culinary experience with the farm to table cooking class, to soak up the surroundings whilst kayaking on the Sea of Cortez and to feel like a million bucks with the Bliss x 2 massage with your partner. And with their earth friendly approach, you can appreciate Rancho Pescadero’s thoughtful use of surrounding resources and how they give back to their community. A trip like this would be a dream come true.

  • Samantha says:

After the stress of wedding planning, there’s nothing I want more than to spend time with my love at Rancho Pescadero. I want to see the daily release of the sea turtles, enjoy yoga and eat wonderful food. What a relaxing, restorative way to spend 5 days. Sign me up!

  • Abigail says:

#NachoAverageNewlyweds —There are so many things we would love to experience at Rancho Pescadoro! My husband tries to channel Francis Mallman when he’s in the kitchen… in other words, he loves wine and an open flame, so we would love to participate in the Rancho Pescadero Farm to Table cooking classes to help develop our skills! Instructors, beware! Todos Santos has so many wonderful festivals, so it would be such a treat to experience the art and culture of the area during the Gastrovino Festival or the Festival de Pilar. I would also love for us to get out of our comfort zone and to try something like surf-fishing right outside of the hotel. Even if we don’t make any big catches, we can at least work on our tans! I think the greatest daily struggle would be leaving the luxurious guest rooms… even the standard rooms look far beyond standard!

  • Lauren says:

I would love to bring my Mom here! She’s never been outside of the US and is in remission so she is finally healthy enough to travel. She loves turtles so I would love to bring her during the time of Turtle releases. I would love for my Mom to be able to put her feet in the sand and enjoy a relaxing getaway.

  • Daily yoga, turtles, COFFEE DELIEVERED DAILY – what is this magical place? Wow, what a honeymoon treat this would be!

  • Kacie says:

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Mexico and it was his first time out of the country. Since then, we’ve both fell in love with the country, the food, and the people. We’d love to celebrate our first anniversary back in the most beautiful country. The Farm to Table cooking classes look amazing– I’d love to learn how to recreate the Lime Soup we feel in love with on our honeymoon! I crave it like no one’s business, even on hot days! Then, we can burn off the calories with a surfing lesson!

  • 12 years ago I married the love of my life. My parents were so generous in gifting us a trip to Mexico for our honeymoon. Unfortunately the day of our wedding my husband was sick and was unable to enjoy our wedding. We had to post pone our honeymoon a week in hopes that he would be feeling better. We ended up going on our honeymoon even though he was still sick. Being that he was still not feeling well we were unable to do very much while there. We have a family and life takes over. We always talk about trying to take the time to have another honeymoon, however that is sometimes hard financially with kids and everyday life.

We would be more than grateful to be able to enjoy this amazing giveaway and finally be able to take full advantage of all the activities and enjoying each others company. Between learning to surf, watching the whales and sea turtles to the breathtaking views. Yoga in the mornings. It sounds like heaven! Thank you for having such a generous giveaway!

My breath way simply taken away after viewing photos of Rancho Pescadaro- I can only imagine how stunning this hotel is in person! I could not fathom a more perfect place to unwind, relax, and rejuvenate than this hotel, which I would love to experience firsthand.

As a hardworking clinical therapist, I serve troubled children and teenagers who have experienced traumatic life events. While I love the work I do, it can be very emotionally and mentally exhausting. I value mental health and self-care, aiming to refresh my mind, body, and spirit whenever possible. Taking care of myself helps me take care of the child I serve in therapy, which is essential to help them overcome the challenges they face.

Rancho Pescadero would be the ultimate self-care vacation that I need. I can already feel my body relaxing as I imagine sipping morning coffee on the private patio, looking out over the gorgeous ocean and listening to the waves crash on the sandy beach. Add in the fact that the coffee is also delivered straight to the hotel room- that is the definition of paradise! With so many great activities to choose from too, this place seems unreal! However, my top activity picks would be paddle boarding, snorkeling, and taking a “farm to table” cooking class! I do not think I could pass up the yoga classes either though- they seem incredibly revitalizing! I love the idea of having fun adventures all day long and then unwinding in the hot tub with a cocktail afterwards.

Overall, Rancho Pescadero seems like a dream come true. Nothing says “blissful renewal” quite like this place, which would refresh me in the most unforgettable way! I would be delighted to visit the hotel firsthand, making my dream a reality.

  • Isabel James says:

Looks dreamy! I would definitely take advantage of the yoga and cooking classes, but only after spending hours in and out of the ocean.

  • Megan Holt says:

Yoga on the beach??? I’m in! Love how many activities there are to chose from!

  • K. Crosby says:

The resort looks lovely! I best like the “releasing of the turtles”. Such a cool thing for guests to participate in and I would LOVE to be able to do that!

  • Betsy says:

Always the planner, never the bride…which means no honeymoon for me (yet)! Rancho Pescadero looks heavenly, like some place out of dream, and would be an amazing location to unwind after a busy wedding season for those of us that work to bring the wedding dreams of others come true! There is much joy in helping a bride and groom enjoy their wedding day in a carefree fashion and then sending them off to a honeymoon full of quiet calm tranquility…but I do admit that I am often jealous of the trips they have planned! To enjoy turtle releases and whale watching would be magnificent, as would yoga on the beach, but the relaxation that could be had there, I can only imagine, would be incomparable.

I have long valued the insight, images and ideas from Snippet & Ink in my line of work. I have referring countless brides to inspiration boards, utilized DIYs like the boxwood letters from long ago, and forwarded along wise words from the real weddings posted. To win a giveaway from such a cherished resource would be a delight.

  • Rachel says:

I’d love to see the turtles being released and to go whale watching – I’m not engaged yet, but with such a romantic venue, you never know what might happen ;)

  • Amanda G says:

Rancho Pescadero looks like a DREAM!! What a beautiful peaceful happy place. It seems idyllic for post-wedding relaxation. Once we get our energy back the cooking classes sound right up our alley. Zach is a great cook but I’m still a novice. Regardless we love to cook together and it would be great to add some new recipes to our rotation. Hiking is the other intriguing activity that the resort offers. The terrain surely differs from Northern Virginia hiking. As an amateur photographer the opportunity to take photographs of the lanscape to print and decorate our new townhouse sounds just perfect.

    xo,
    Amanda

I would love to go whale watching…and I love the idea of coffee delivered daily ;) My hubby and I celebrate 10 years in August and this would be great to surprise him with a trip for our Anniversary!!! <3

  • Adrienne says:

August 2nd will mark our two-year wedding anniversary and eight years to the day we first kissed. I still remember the wedding planning process as if it was yesterday though. As the two oldest in our families, we decided to give our parents what they had envisioned for their children – a HUGE (500 guest) traditional Bengali wedding with all of the accoutrements. Hubs and I would joke that if it had been up to us we would have gotten married somewhere in Sonoma in the showiness of nature, I would have worn something white and flow-y, and been barefoot part of the time (I did kick my shoes off during the father-daughter dance!). Although things were insanely hectic between the planning and it being my last year of grad school, I had one ritual that kept me sane – wake up, grab coffee, and as I sit down to read emails, Snippet & Ink would be the first one I’d open. The brides would look so happy and serene and it would set a positive tone to my day. I still do this.

Between school and starting careers, many of our life plans were put on hold. I would love to be able to surprise hubs with the honeymoon we never got a chance to take. I would love to explore that beautiful cerulean water and I know he would love to explore the surrounding towns and meet locals. Eating, drinking, cooking, learning from people who love what they do and consider each other family? I can’t imagine a better way to experience life and each other.

Cheers to you and to the other ladies here who deserve this vacation, too. :)

  • Stacey H says:

My fiance and I got engaged last Sunday and would love a visit to this beautiful location. We bought our first home last summer and since then, have started our own mini garden in the backyard. We are still learning how to be adults and cooking homemade meals, and we would love to take part in the Farm to Table Cooking classes and learn some skills to bring back to our kitchen in Washington. Thank you!

  • Christine says:

Reading by the pool, hiking and then spa relaxation time! Plus my Oregon skin could use some warm sun rays!

  • Becky Dowell says:

This looks like the perfect slice of heaven. I’m getting married in the fall and I would look forward to yoga classes, cooking classes, mixology classes, and simply enjoying being on the beach with the love of my life in paradise.

I keep on hoping cake by the ocean…. oooo aaaand sleep, because those beds look comfy.

  • Melissa says:

Oh my, isn’t this place wonderful!! Everything about it!!! I would love a farm to table cooking demo while of vacation, but then again surfing or the sea of Cortez is can’t miss either!! Wow!!

  • Sarah Cain says:

ay ay ay ay ay, rancho pesca-der-ooo
ay ay ay ay ay…me llores.

  • To put it simply, it’s been a tough year. My boyfriend and I moved in together and we have been hit with a lot, from lost friendships to work struggles to family drama. Despite the hardship, our commitment has strengthened and our love has grown even deeper roots. He is my rock.

I imagine a trip like this, a mini moon as you suggest, as a gift to celebrate how far we’ve come and how aligned we are. I fell in love with Mexico when I visited Tulum a few years ago and I would love nothing more than to return to that beautiful country now with the man I hope to spend the rest of my life with.

When I look at Rancho Pescadero, I see sunshine and warmth, bathed in flowers, water and stars. I would love to teach my boyfriend how to surf, to re-establish a yoga practice and to bring some of that brilliant Baja cooking back to our teeny tiny kitchen in New York.

  • Julie Weisberg says:

I would flip if I saw whales from my room! Just that itself sounds amazing. Everything else is icing on the cake (no pun intended)

  • Emily Burch says:

Ranchero Pescadero looks amazing! Yoga, massages and an beautiful resort with delicious food and gorgeous beach would be the perfect honeymoon! My fiancé loves fishing and would also love to see the turtle release. We are getting married July 23rd and don’t have a honeymoon planned because we have to go back to work and school that following Monday! I’m a special education teacher and my fiancé went back to school for construction management after he completed time in the Navy. We could really use some rest and relaxation when we can take some time off as a married couple! ?

  • Michelle D says:

Yoga under the stars, a little salsa practice by the pool patio and al fresco-decorated *sand* castles!

  • Yoga on the beach?!? Yes please! I’d also have to admit that uninterupted sleep in those gorgeous netted beds sounds amazing!!!

  • I love finding new things for my fiancé and I to experience together (we’re getting married in November). Encountering nature in a new way is very centering for both of us, a reminder of how lucky and grateful we are to be alive in this world. His bucket list includes swimming with whale sharks so that’d have to be top of the list for us. I enjoy yoga and he’s been commenting for years that one day he’d like to try it. What better place for him to start than surrounded by such beauty? Thanks for the opportunity to connect with such a special destination!

  • Doua says:

I love your website and was so lucky to have been featured on your website a year ago!!!! It would be a dream come true to also win this giveaway…. The resort looks amazing and it would be amazing to relax by the ocean, get massages by a beautiful view, and learn how to cook – since that’s one of mine and my husband favorite thing to do!

  • Macall Smith says:

After recently having gone through a very unexpected breakup, and fast approaching, my 30th birthday, let’s just say things are a little different in my life than I expected them to be (haha). This resort is stunning and I would love to take the opportunity to regroup and gather my thoughts. The surfing, the yoga, the sea turtle release (Seriously?? Are you kidding me??)–it all looks beyond amazing!! Thank you for considering my entry!! Xx

  • Erica Boscio says:

I would love to experience the Turtles, Whales and Whale Sharks while at this beautiful oasis on the water. My husband and I will be celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary this year, and this would be the ideal location to celebrate, not only our love, but the medical battle that our 8 year son won this year, against brain surgery. Up until this point, we haven’t even had a day to just enjoy each other. The serene water and gorgeous animals will remind us of the beauty and celebration of both life and love in the world around us.

  • Colette says:

Whale watching, yoga on the beach, cooking and surfing classes… do I really have to pick just one? It sounds amazing!
