Board #89 | Moroccan Flair

Lisanne emailed me with such an interesting request, that I just had to take her up on it. She wanted something that was one part Moroccan flair and one part vintage/bohemian chic. I have no idea if this board fits that description, but I think it turned out. In order to tie everything together, I stuck with a strong color palette throughout, mostly pink, red, and orange. For this wedding, I might also have bridesmaids wear a dress of their choice within a certain range of colors, and have groomsmen do the same for ties. I have had several requests for a board with a Moroccan feel to it, so I hope this board provides some inspiration for those brides, as well. (This is a nice board for warming things up, if you, like me, woke up to 4 degree weather.)

Mood: Bohemian Morocco
Palette: fuschia, red, orange, gold

This is absolutely stunning! The only problem is that it’s making me completely rethink my wedding! Oh well, an abundance of inspiration is never a bad thing.

    You’re brilliant!

  • Lisanne says:

WOOOOOWWWW!!!! I am floored! This is just gorgeous and I can’t thank you enough for the direction and inspiration!!! I think you nailed it!!!! (So many exclamation points, but I must convey my excitement somehow!) Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

  • Aimee says:

Thank you! I am planning my August wedding and we have been going for a similar vibe — taking hints from a summer farmers market and our world travels/work. This is so helpful and gorgeous!!

Speaking of a Morrocan Theme, I just had my wedding with a Morrocan theme and have my centerpieces left from the event. They were absolutely awesome centerpieces! If anyone would be interested in them they can email me at and I can send you a photo of them. I have 30 centerpieces and Im willing to sell them for $15 each. That’s an awesome price for centerpieces :)

This is one of my favorites (Moroccan Flair #89) because of the non-traditional color scheme and that completely cool square-shaped, ribbon-swathed canopy. It catches my eye right away.

I love this!!! This and the red and white preppy strawberry board are really inspiring me… i’m planning a wedding in three months… more on that later… :)
