Board #545 | Romantic Early Spring
Despite being the middle of January, it’s felt downright Spring-like here in the Bay Area. Or maybe that’s just wishful thinking on my part. Either way, I was inspired by Coralie Bickford-Smith’s gorgeous book cover to create an early spring wedding board, with lots of romantic details: velvet ribbon, flourishing calligraphy, loose florals. I also just adore these colors together, the way the not-quite black plays off the vibrant green and crisp white.
Palette: matte fig black, green velvet, white
Mood: romantic early spring

I had a couple accessories in mind for the bride of this inspiration board, that I thought would look gorgeous with that dress from Samuelle Couture… consider this an inspiration board bonus!

So honored be on here! Thanks! : )

That dress is gorgeous! Thanks so much for always sharing the most beautiful inspiration boards!:)
Best tree ever!
That tree is amazing!
Beautiful inspiration board, and what a fabulous book cover! I actually did a wedding this August with a similar color palette and feel – green and dark grey, with blush pink as a floral accent. I found the pink really added a romantic, feminine touch. http://goo.gl/8y2xf
Love this one! The gold key is my fave.
I am really digging the color palette that is used for this wedding. a vintage grey and green mixes so well. The invitation is phenomenal, oh wait, that is a book, lol.
Thank you so much for featuring our headband!
If anyone has any questions we’d be delighted to help, of course.
Thanks again …
This is gorgeous!! We are in the middle of planning our destination wedding based on the lovely French Country Chic board you had, and vintage skeleton keys will play a role in our decor as well!
can we call this the downton abbey board?
