    They are all so beautiful! I especially love “The Happy Couple.” Something about the text evokes feelings of joy, calm, and quite excitement–the way I would imagine a couple feels when they send Save the Dates!

    After going BACK and FORTH a million times between the Stitched Flags save the date and the Up and Away save the date… I think I finally have to choose the Up and Away save the date! My fiancee and I started our relationship in California, but after I moved to New York we went through about 2 years of long distance dating. Hard!     Love the “up and away’ magnet b/c our wedding will be a destination wedding and the plane + map lets people know that they will need to get ready for traveling.   • I like “subtle chevron” because it combines a block of color with a block picture, all tied together with a beautiful ampersand. The photo does not take over the style and design. Plus, it’s available in green–the “it” color in 2013! Happy New Year!!

  • I’ve had a hard time finding the “right” save the date that fits my desire to feature an engagement photo but also to reflect the formality of our event. With DIY and handicrafts being so popular these days, I’ve found that most save the dates are too informal or are just calligraphy with no photo. While there were a few that fit my criteria, my favorite was Belle Memoire because of its full feature photo and unique/modern take on the date and the nod to calligraphy by incorporating a flourished & sign which will tie in nicely to our modern calligraphy envelopes:
