- Squinting in sun: plenty of people with light eyes find bright daylight uncomfortable, and squinting creases shadow into the fold of the lid. For a midday outdoor ceremony I set any cream shadow with powder and keep shimmer out of the crease.
- Redness: crying, hay fever or a late night turn the whites pink, and pink around blue looks sore. I use waterproof mascara, leave the lower waterline bare, and put any redness drops in before makeup starts, not on top of it.
